Jesus Commitment to His Bride!

There were three major points in history that Jesus made as a gift to us, His bride. The first was before the foundation of the world.  He was committed to be the sacrifice for His bride before the world was created. Ephesians 1:4 "Just as He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him love."  God had us in His mind even before He created all things.  His everlasting love for the bride of His own Son, has never been out of His mind.

Second He gifted us the fulfillment of all righteousness.  When Christ said, "It is finished" on the cross, He crossed the point of fulfillment of all things for us His bride. Now we have perfect standing with the Father through His very own Son. We come, not in anything we have to offer, but through the complete righteousness of Christ alone.  The Father accepts us into His family to be a forever bride of His own Son based totally on the completion of all righteousness through Christ. Absolutely nothing we bring can be accepted.  It was finished and the law was fulfilled through a perfect sacrifice.

Third, Christ takes the scroll in Revelation 5 and completes the ownership and possession over earth for His bride.  John is weeping greatly as he sees the scroll of redemption of planet earth held in the hands of the Father.  But no one is worthy to take the scroll. Men have tried throughout the ages.  Nebuchadnezzar tried, the Caesars tried, Hitler tried, and finally the antichrist will try, but none are worthy.  John greatly desires the curse be lifted and all suffering released from planet earth.  He sees in the redemption scroll the last hope.  Then one steps up... the Lion and the Lamb!  He alone is worthy and John stops weeping.  An angel appears and says to John, "Stop weeping, and behold".  That is the sound of all hope for this planet. Jesus finally secures for His bride, the ownership over all creation.  The animals, plants and all creation breaks out in rejoicing!  Revelation 5:13 "And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:  'Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever.'"   John says that Jesus has made us a kingdom of kings and priests unto our God!  He has done all this for us, His bride.
