Favor with the King! Daniel Ch. 1

God's light shines brightest in times of darkness.  Nebuchadnezzar had just besieged Jerusalem for the third time.  But this final time he took many into captivity into Babylon for 70 years.  God was making up for the 70 years that Israel had stolen in the former 490 years by refusing to honor the Sabbath every 7 years.  So God redeemed those years by placing Israel into captivity. God also took four young men of Israel into the court of the king of Babylon.  They were handsome, without physical blemish, wise in learning the language and the culture of Babylon.  Daniel, of course, was among them. Daniel excelled in excellence and had received, from God, the gift of dreams and interpretation. Daniel 1:17 "As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams." This made Daniel stand out among all those in the king's court of soothsayers, astrologers and the wise men. Daniel, along with Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were being groomed in the customs and culture of Babylon. Even though their names were changed, their diet was changed, their dress was changed, there hearts were not. They remained faithful in the middle of the entire Babylonian system, to their God Jehovah.  Because of their pure hearts and purpose not to defile themselves with the king's meat and drink, they became more excellent than all the other wise men by 10 times!  Not only that, Daniel was given great favor in the court of the king!  Daniel 1:9 "Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs."  Remember FAVOR comes from God!

Remember also, that we, the body and bride of Christ, have been given 9 beautiful gifts of the Holy Spirit in this age, so that we too can excel in life and ministry. You have been gifted, just like Daniel, with the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to have the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues. (I Cor. 12:8 - 11) We should be affecting our culture and nation just like Daniel did Babylon. Daniel is an illustration of how the body of Christ will function in the middle of the final Babylonian system found in the book of Revelation.  We will by used mightily!

A Now Word to the Body of Christ - "He that has ears...."

I was video taping one of my broadcasters in our studio for his weekly television program here in Tampa Bay on Channel 12 MOR Television, and God spoke to me to remain behind in the studio.  I felt the Holy Spirit tell me He had a word for the body of Christ that was important for this end-time season. Please take a few minutes to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. Remember this is the key to overcoming during the tribulation time. If we will hear the voice of God in the middle of Crisis.  I am doing a study right now through the book of Daniel.  Daniel and his three friends were about to be killed along with all the magicians, soothsayers, astrologers and wise men Babylon. The king had already started killing some of them, not Daniel and his friends, but the other guys. When the overseer of the wise men of Babylon said, "Oh king there is a man, Daniel, that can interpret the dream and vision."  Daniel was brought in to the king.  He asked for a few days to seek God's wisdom. Daniel went to his house, called in the other three and they prayed for wisdom. God answered their prayers. Daniel came back with the dream and interpretation to Nebuchadnezzar and the king gave Daniel great honor and placed him in the highest position in the land along with Daniel's friends. The king also praised the God of Daniel. Daniel 2:47  "The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this dream."

That is the power of true gifts of the Holy Spirit now being poured out on the bride of Christ. But is it still important to have the ability to interpret dreams and visions in our day?  Is prophetic revelation of the times still important today?  Can we actually be given this ability by God? Did Daniel say that the prophetic revelation would be kept unto the end of days? That the books would be closed until then and he was to seal up the book? That is why I look to Jesus for my inspiration and direction.  Little wonder He said, "Follow Me". Are we following the same passion, purpose and plan? Luke 21 - 22 Signs of the End of this Age

Jesus gives us a clear definition of how this age will end.  Many people today look to the signs of the beginning of sorrows, which is the early part of the end-times.  Things like earthquakes, pestilence and wars and rumors of wars,.  But Jesus clearly taught these are NOT the signs of the end of this age.  They are simply the continuation of sorrows that the earth has experienced for thousands of years.  Jesus said there was only ONE true sign of His soon coming.  It is found in Matthew 24:14 "When this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world unto all nations (ethnos-dialects) as a witness, then shall the end come".  That is about as clear as you can get, yet many, many people today on you tube and other media and proclaiming that these "beginning of sorrows" are the end. A Father's Blessing - Father's Day

A FATHER'S BLESSING

Jesus said, "He that has seen me has seen the Father."  Want to know what the Father looks like?  Look at Jesus.  Jesus only spoke what the Father told Him.  Jesus said, "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak...whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak."  John 12:49-50  As we come into Father's day, learn to be a good father... like Jesus.  Jesus said earlier that He did not come into the world to condemn the world, but save it.  A father's love should always be redemptive.  When they threw the woman taken in adultery at the feet of Jesus, He knelt on the ground and wrote with His hand something in the sand.  It drove all the accusers away and now only Jesus and the adulterous woman remained.  He spoke as a loving father and said, "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more."  Jesus constantly spoke words of healing and deliverance.  Never words of damnation and condemnation.  As a father of 4 children, I have learned in the journey of life, that those kind of words do work better.  Why is Father's blessing so important to us? God created in us the desire for a father's love and blessing.  In Israel it was essential for the future of each child...especially the eldest son.  It was customary for father's to give that blessing before they died.  I believe we should restore this ancient practice.  I pray with my youngest son each night before he goes to bed.  He is presently 15 years old and we cherish this time together.  First we pray together through the "Lord's Prayer" and then I lay my hands on him and pray the fathers blessing on him each night.  He just returned from our churches summer teen camp and the leader of his group of 8 really took to Chris.  He sensed something in him of greatness.  Now this may seem like I am boasting, but I believe one of the reasons of his emotional and spiritual stability is the nightly "father's blessing".  Kids face a lot of struggles today with sexuality, pressures from secular education, peer pressures, etc.  They need a "father's blessing".  I challenge each father reading this to speak that blessing over and over again to our sons and daughters.  Remember the Father in heaven said, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.." about His Son Jesus. Let's do the same.

A REVELATION PRAYER JOURNAL - kingdom of God

One of the amazing truths of the book of Revelation is the future events that are going to happen on earth because the true church is praying. Two times the prayers of the saints are mixed on the altar before God's throne and a mighty angel takes the coals of the altar of incense along with the prayers of the saints and casts fire on the earth. Revelation 8:3-5 "Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar,  He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God's people, on the golden altar in front of the throne.  The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand.  Then the angel took the incense, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake."  The saints determine how God deals with earth, releases His divine purpose on earth, and how the fulfillment of the end times come.  We must as intercessors, prepare a prayer journal for the end times.  It is the prayers of the saints that overcome the antichrist. You are waiting for God to redeem the earth, God is waiting for YOU to pray!  The book of Revelation is a prayer journal on how to determine and pray for what God is about to do and is doing during the tribulation period. That is why it so vital for the church to NOW hear what God's Spirit is saying on earth. There are many false voices that cry wolf today, but these voices are not from God. I see so many youtube videos and blogs that don't even know what the true sign of Jesus coming is all about. That Matthew 24:14 is the ONLY true sign that Jesus Himself gave. "When this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world unto all nations (Ethnos - dialects), then shall the end come."  All the other spectacular so called signs like earthquakes, pestilence, etc. are just the "beginning of sorrows". I personally believe that a world-wide intercessor movement will accompany the end time purpose of God in fulfilling all prophecy. Only you can determine your part in that great end-time movement.  Are you praying?  Is God showing you how to pray in these days?  Perhaps this is the season to do the real important work of God... Pray!  Daniel was told to seal up the book of prophecy until the times of the end.  We are now in that day of the Lord.  God is NOW breaking open the seals of revelation to understand how all this unfolds and how we should PRAY!

Call to All Korean Congress - Please pray!

Action Evangelism is a growing member of the Call to All world harvest movement.  The upcoming world congress for finishing the harvest in Korea is exciting and will be a strategic congress setting the pace for the emerging younger generation. They are expecting almost 1/2 of the 10,000 attendees will be youth.  Please pray for this gathering.  It is a movement of trying to finish the harvest by 2020.  As you know, Action Evangelism has had a heart in launching MAT Ministry Action Teams to remote villages and planting churches. We too believe the harvest can be complete by 2020 paving the way for the return of Christ according to Matthew 24:14.  We have naturally joined hands with large ministries like YWAM and Campus Crusade, etc. to be a help in finishing this massive task. The church has tried for over 2000 years to do this.  We are living the time of the completion and end of this effort.  Of the 15,300 dialects around the world, almost 3/4 have been done, translating the bible into their dialect. With new technology, we are seeing a rapid increase of this task. Many of us now believe it will be completed by 2020.  To me this is the greatest sign of the soon coming of Christ and was according the Christ's own declaration the ONLY real sign. We will not drop the ball nor stop the forward movement of doing what God has called us to do since 2005 and the prophetic word I received from Dr. Frank Brocado and intercessor Joe Brown. Birthing God's Kingdom on Earth - Kingdom Life University

One of the most astounding thoughts concerning the story of Luke chapter 1 is the fact that one little girl from an insignificant town called Nazareth, birthed God's kingdom on earth! Mary represents the mother of all who simply want to transition heaven to earth.  The bride of Christ, which all who receive Christ by faith are, have spiritual wombs to birth God's kingdom on earth. These come through sanctified imaginations and visions and ideas that are from heaven and released on earth. We call these vision and dreams fulfilling God's will on earth.  This is a powerful spiritual force that we carry as His sons and daughters. How does this happen?  It begins with a revelation of God's purpose on earth.  Mary had this announcement through the angel Gabriel.  Gabriel dwells in the very presence of God's throne and works on special assignments declaring the will of the Father. Luke 1:26 "Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth."  The revelation transitions into a declaration and then manifestation of God's purpose in your life.  What has God revealed to you?  Have you heard His voice? For Mary it came at a cost, but she followed with immediate obedience.  "Be it unto me according to your words,"  was Mary's reply.  I like the narrative in the book of Luke.  He was exact and followed the best principles of accuracy only giving accounts from those who had witnessed these events personally. Luke 1:1 "Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us."  This study of Luke chapters 1 & 2 reveal how two women gave birth.  One from a barren womb... Elizabeth, and the other from a blessed womb, Mary.

Kingdom of God - Transforming Power of our "Spirit Man"

I have a special announcement! You don't need Jesus or His salvation. However, there is only one requirement.  You must perfectly keep God's law and never offend in one point ever your entire life.  Jesus said, "If you offend in one point of the law, you are guilty of all".  There has never been one person in the history of mankind that meets that requirement... except Jesus!  He has done it. Therefore He alone fulfilled all righteousness. He has performed what no other man from the fall of Adam till the time of Christ could do. He said the law is perfect, but you must perfectly keep it. Jesus clearly fulfilled the law in every point. He satisfied the holy righteous demand of the Father for full payment of man's sin. Now sin's PENTALY collided with sin's PAYMENT and came out washed whiter than snow!  He was and is the perfect Lamb of God. The perfect sacrifice. When Jesus announced "It is finished", He was declaring to the universe that the holy just demand of the law was finally satisfied and payment was made for man's sin totally and completely. Jesus died, was buried, rose again, ascended to the Father's right hand and now He reigns as undisputed sovereign of all creation the King of all kings. But the best news of all is that this righteous sacrifice is willing to now share His righteousness with us. First He imputes it at the right hand of Father God when we receive Him as savior and He declares us holy and blameless in the Father's presence. AMAZING!  Then through the Holy Spirit He imparts to us His full righteousness to walk as men on this earth. But that imparted righteousness is given ONLY to our spirit man when we are made a new creation, made alive, in Christ. Remember, "That which is born of the Spirit is spirit". John 3  Our soul and body must then come into alignment with our spirit man. This Paul the apostle calls "Walking in the Spirit".  This is also called "renewing of the mind" Romans 12:1 - 1 and that happens in our body and mind when they are submitted to His ultimate authority.  We then become overcomers by the power of Holy Spirit. This is our spiritual growth.  Being conformed into His image day by day as we yield to the Holy Spirit. Remember it is only the spirit part of us that gets saved and fully made complete the moment we receive Christ. Peter refers to it as "we are given everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ." II Peter chapter 1  Read Ephesians 1 and see who we are in Christ.  Paul said we are "Complete in Him" who is the head of the body.  Complete is complete and nothing less.  Our spirit man is now fully empowered by the Holy Spirit for transformation.  Get ready!

Declaration Over America - Kingdom Come God's Will be Done!

"These are the times that try men's souls" said one Thomas Paine.  We have been shaken and are yet standing.  The greatness of our land is in it's moral history... it's deeper conviction of purpose.  America is not a passing thought of history, but a place of divine light in a dark world.  Yet our land is reeling from moral choices in courts favoring the breaking of  the laws of God. What will turn our great land from walking off the cliff of self destruction?  It's the call and conviction of committed believer's in God's unfailing love. It's the foundation of righteousness centered in the cross of the one who gave His all. It's in our response to His cry to change the world... bring it into alignment with His kingdom of power and love. We have been empowered with all the authority of heaven to do just that!  He gave us his resurrection power and applied it to us through His Spirit.  We have been entrusted with the care of all humanity.  With the stewardship of wisdom over planet earth. With the understanding of bringing life and love to broken people. Have we failed?  I don't believe so. Amidst the stand of common men are those who separate themselves to this purpose and bring heaven to earth.  To decree and declare over this land. To realign all nature and man to it's original DNA found in it's beginning ... the great Elohim "creator of all things".  All nature wants to return. It is crying out for deliverance and waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8) When the church gets free...nature will follow.  But disease, discord, disharmony and despair has left us alone in the desert of disappointment. But in the darkest hour grace appears!  No word from God or revelation for 400 years!  Then Comes the promised seed... in a little village girl named Mary. Alas the chains are broken, the fierce power of evil destroyed. He is risen, risen indeed!  And now the message goes forth like a might thunder to the nations.  America is born in the timing of God.  Our fine nation takes the call and becomes the greatest sender of hope around the world.  Missions of light circle the globe.  Ministries of life speak the word to unreached tribes.  For two hundred years the cry has gone forth. Yet America is not done or undone!  We still carry the torch of freedom to the enslaved.  We still send the food to the hungry, the help to the refugees, hope to the orphan and hand to the widow.  And we have still remained a friend to the homeland of Jesus. Yet America is being tossed to and fro in trials and much indecision.  This is the time to make our declarations over the land.  I invite you to join me.  Make your own declaration over our land.  Write it down... speak it out... shout it to the people's.  Here is my declaration. Let us rise in one mighty voice across our land!

"The Young Messiah" - Misrepresentation of Christ

I went to see the movie, "The Young Messiah" and was disturbed by the false doctrine and misrepresentation of Jesus the True Messiah. The movie did, however, represent the false teaching of religion in many of America's churches. What is that false teaching?  That Jesus functioned on earth independent of the Father and the Holy Spirit. That as a child He did miracles before His anointing of Luke 4 and His baptism of Luke 3. The bible clearly shows us that Jesus functioned on earth as a man, under the authority of the Father.  In fact, Jesus could do nothing of Himself.  He said that in John 5:19 "Jesus gave them this answer: 'Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does." Jesus repeated that same answer all through the book of John.  (John 5:30, John 8:28) One of the most powerful verses on Jesus relationship to the Father is found in John 5:26-27. It is clear that the Father gave Jesus authority on earth to execute judgment, because Jesus was the "Son of Man". Jesus, totally on this earth, functioned under transmitted authority. What are you saying Jerry? Jesus laid aside His right to walk on this earth in His divine authority, but rather operated under transmitted authority from the Father. Why is this important? Because Jesus is demonstrating to us how to come under the Father's authority as men. Jesus never lost His divinity and always remained the Son of God, but became man to demonstrate how we can have the same authority He had.  This is clearly referred to in Philippians 2:5-7 "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men." That is why Jesus stated, "The works that I do, you shall do also, and greater works than these shall you do because I go to my Father."  John 14:12

Before Jesus left this earth He promised the disciples they could received the same power, the same authority He had.  Therefore they could do the same miracles, the same works that Jesus did.  Why?  Because He was going to transmit to US the same power through the Holy Spirit that He received at His baptism and anointing in Luke 4!  This power upon the disciples began in John 20 when Jesus breathed upon them the Holy Spirit and said, "Receive ye the Spirit".  Then at Pentecost the same power fell on the 120.  Today the exact same power falls on us.  It has not changed. We can walk under the exact same anointing Jesus had. Therefore we can heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons and proclaim with authority "the kingdom is here". Unfortunately much of the modern evangelical church does not believe this.  So she remains intellectual and logical and not supernatural. Thank you Jesus for becoming a man and demonstrating to us how a "man" can function under authority.  So we too can, as men, walk in Your authority and power for Your glory!

God is Pleased With You ... Amazing Truth!

My wife and I have entered many days listening to a wonderful teacher Andrew Wommack. He is on at 6:00 am on CTN network. His teaching confronts many religious notions we are taught in our churches. I also sometimes go to my study during the night to study and pray. I also have Roku in my study since we have a Roku channel "WATV". We also have a guest bed in my study so I can rest occasionally during my studies and prayer. I recently happened to put on my headsets to not awaken my family during the night and fell asleep listening to a selected teaching on Youtube. But when I awakened my Youtube channel had advanced to this message I am presenting below, I listened intently and I was aware again of the amazing simple truth God reveals to Andrew. I challenge you to take some time and listen completely through this life changing message. Andrew answers the question, "Is God pleased with me?" I challenge you to take some time to listen to this entire message. It is a truth that realigns us. It shows how our spirit man is created in true righteousness, holiness, perfection. That you walk in forgiveness of all your past sins, present sins and even future sins. Enoch in Genesis 5:23-24 wore a tee-shirt "I PLEASE GOD" so God took him right off this earth. Enoch walked by faith in a revelation of God's righteousness that came thousands of years before Christ was even born. But Enoch believed God and it was counted to him.. righteousness. How much more do we please God through the full revelation of Christ's righteousness.

Harmonious Living - The Kingdom of God

Because we are created in the image of God, the imprint of His kingdom is on our every cell, in every part of earth's natural harmony and in all things. Colossians says, "all things were made by Him and for Him and by Him all things consist" Our body resonates with the kingdom!  But without Christ, our spirit is dead and cannot access His Spirit life within.  Our spirit man died with Adam's death.  God had said to Adam in Genesis 2:17 "But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die."  Man ate and man died spiritually. But God made a way for our spirit man to come back to life!  It is in His resurrection power found through Christ.  If we believe and receive that Christ died and rose again according to the gospel we are given spiritual life again and we are made in our spirit man a new creation!  This is a retuning of our life to His kingdom.  A realignment to the glory of His creative power. It is natural for man to be alive spiritually.  We were originally designed that way.  Sin is unnatural. It is a diviation from God's design. As E. Stanley Jones in his book "The Unshakable Kingdom" says, "man goes to pieces under sin. The world "evil" is "life" spelled backwords."  Proverbs says, "There is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof (that is of sin) are the ways of death."  Proverbs 14:12  What are the results of this realignment?  Romans 14:17 "But the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost."  May I suggest against popular religious reason, that it is not natural for man to sin. Why do we say it is "ugly as sin"?  Our nature cries out for harmony with our creator and with ourselves.  When you follow the kingdom principles you reap life and life more abundantly!  Will you agree with me... A New Discovery - The Kingdom of God

Man is constantly searching for meaning. Where do we come from?  Why do we exist?  Where are we going?  These basic questions are imprinted on our very person. It is because God had placed within us a hidden treasure. Written in our cells is the very testimony of the Kingdom of God. When you seek first the kingdom of God and Jesus righteousness, everything else in life is added to you. (Matthew 6:33) The secret of His kingdom is in our very being. Our entire existence is waiting for the alignment of our mind to this truth.  But our mind cannot discover it.  It only comes through revelation to our spirit man by the Holy Spirit Himself. God placed within man the imprint of His image. Man has distorted the image with a false hope. A belief that we can know all things through our mind.  That science can measure and prove all things. We have bypassed the greatest source of all knowledge... Jesus Christ and His kingdom. "In Christ are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:3 Man is hoping the discovery we are searching for exists outside of the Almighty and we as men can figure it all out. But true reality is found not in the natural but the Spirit.  Jesus said, the words I speak to you are Spirit and they are life. I John 5:6 in fact says "And it is the Spirit who testifies, for the Spirit is truth." Pilot asked Jesus, "What is truth?"  It is this insistent question that has plagued man from the time of the fall. But Jesus gave us some simple statements.  "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me."  John 14:6  Also Jesus said in John 8:32 "You will know the truth and the truth shall set you free." Hidden in the treasure of His kingdom are all the answers you are looking for.  Your purpose and destiny.  Your knowledge of who you are and who God is. No wonder Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. Rise of Home Churches - Kingdom Life University a perfect match!

We are seeing two parallel movements in America.  First is the growth of large churches even with the addition of remote campuses. We attend a church, Grace Family Church, that is starting new campuses throughout Tampa. Our pastor video tapes our service in very high definition and plays the message to campuses "live" all over Tampa Bay. This is a growing trend in cities across America.  It shows two things:  1. People are excited about the wider venue of programs and services for families in a larger more well financed church.  2. People don't mind watching video messages on large screens. Grace Family Church pastor Craig Altman, is seen on large screens "live" on mulitiple campuses every Sunday. Even at our main church campus on Van Dyke Rd. he is sometimes seen on large screen video in various services because the multiple services held each weekend puts a heavy demand on our pastor to speak so many times.  He simply records each service, picks out the best, and just replays it at some of the various services.  

The second trend I see coming is the growing home church movement.  Many believer's have had a growing dissatisfaction with the traditional church setting. They simply want to just hold church at their home with some of their friends or family. They have also had a growing acceptance of listening on large screen TV's to good preaching and teaching. Enter Kingdom Life University! We have felt for several years that this home church movement could well utilize the Kingdom Life University curriculum as the way of bringing High Definition good video teaching into small home groups. You can become a citizen of the kingdom of God by simply confessing Christ as "Lord" asking him to take your sins away. This is called repentance and is the message Jesus preached in Mark 1:13-14  "Jesus traveled through out Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom saying, repent and believe."

Then please ask Jesus Christ to take residence in your heart and life and make Him the King and Lord of your heart.  Your Spirit man will come alive by the power of the Holy Spirit!

House Divided - Kingdom Of God Youth Culture

This post has the potential to bring criticism on me that perhaps might bring some change in the church.  One of the purposes of the gift of apostolic authority is to bring correction in the body of Christ.  I am proposing that the modern church has abandoned the biblical framework for the youth today. That is why we are loosing almost 80% of our so called Christian children who choose to abandon their faith before college. We have divided the home by putting our young people into age segregated youth programs that have substituted "fun times" and entertainment venues for FATHERS that should be mentoring their children and providing an authentic Christian example.  I am going to make a bold statement.  There is not one example in the bible for segregated youth programs. This philosophy began way back in the Sunday school movement years ago.  It came out of the Platonic notion that the state can better raise your children than you can.  This secular culture lie has permeated the culture of the church. Youth pastors have become the new loyalty of the hearts of children, not their parents, particularly the fathers.

This thought became evident to me recently when the Holy Spirit instructed me to began mentoring my son, Chris.  Since that Holy Spirit conviction came upon me, I have been systematically teaching Chris through the book of John and have a commitment to take him into the community for outreach to the needy once each month. Hopefully I am providing an authentic life example of Christ that will help him get grounded. I pray with him each night before bedtime.  I purposefully engage conversation with him about life and issues facing him each day. I, for sure, am not a perfect dad, but am learning after many years what's most important to my family.

My heritage was a father who took me to church along with my other 4 siblings and we sat together as a family in the worship service even though 1/2 of the service was in the German language which I did not understand.  But I respected my father.  We prayed together as a family and read the word together each morning.  My father led that time each day. The church did not argue whether my father had the right to teach his family or whether a youth pastor could do it better.  I never waivered from the faith, but always loved the faith of my father.

What is the solution?  First, encourage fathers to lead in the home and instruct their children.  Second, help train the fathers through sound biblical training like our Kingdom Life University curriculum so they have the confidence to teach their families and children the bible. Thirdly, start bringing alignment to local churches who will listen.  Fourth, start "Step Up" training sessions for dad's who want to learn how to lead their families. Fifth, begin "Our Journey Together" fathers and sons and daughters bible studies in the home. Please take some time to watch the video below.  It is life changing, factual, well documented and effective.  I know we will be challenging a mind set of popular opinion, but our future of the church depends on it. Let's save our youth.
