Jesus said, "He that has seen me has seen the Father." Want to know what the Father looks like? Look at Jesus. Jesus only spoke what the Father told Him. Jesus said, "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak...whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:49-50 As we come into Father's day, learn to be a good father... like Jesus. Jesus said earlier that He did not come into the world to condemn the world, but save it. A father's love should always be redemptive. When they threw the woman taken in adultery at the feet of Jesus, He knelt on the ground and wrote with His hand something in the sand. It drove all the accusers away and now only Jesus and the adulterous woman remained. He spoke as a loving father and said, "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more." Jesus constantly spoke words of healing and deliverance. Never words of damnation and condemnation. As a father of 4 children, I have learned in the journey of life, that those kind of words do work better. Why is Father's blessing so important to us? God created in us the desire for a father's love and blessing. In Israel it was essential for the future of each child...especially the eldest son. It was customary for father's to give that blessing before they died. I believe we should restore this ancient practice. I pray with my youngest son each night before he goes to bed. He is presently 15 years old and we cherish this time together. First we pray together through the "Lord's Prayer" and then I lay my hands on him and pray the fathers blessing on him each night. He just returned from our churches summer teen camp and the leader of his group of 8 really took to Chris. He sensed something in him of greatness. Now this may seem like I am boasting, but I believe one of the reasons of his emotional and spiritual stability is the nightly "father's blessing". Kids face a lot of struggles today with sexuality, pressures from secular education, peer pressures, etc. They need a "father's blessing". I challenge each father reading this to speak that blessing over and over again to our sons and daughters. Remember the Father in heaven said, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.." about His Son Jesus. Let's do the same.
One of the amazing truths of the book of Revelation is the future events that are going to happen on earth because the true church is praying. Two times the prayers of the saints are mixed on the altar before God's throne and a mighty angel takes the coals of the altar of incense along with the prayers of the saints and casts fire on the earth. Revelation 8:3-5 "Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar, He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God's people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the incense, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake." The saints determine how God deals with earth, releases His divine purpose on earth, and how the fulfillment of the end times come. We must as intercessors, prepare a prayer journal for the end times. It is the prayers of the saints that overcome the antichrist. You are waiting for God to redeem the earth, God is waiting for YOU to pray! The book of Revelation is a prayer journal on how to determine and pray for what God is about to do and is doing during the tribulation period. That is why it so vital for the church to NOW hear what God's Spirit is saying on earth. There are many false voices that cry wolf today, but these voices are not from God. I see so many youtube videos and blogs that don't even know what the true sign of Jesus coming is all about. That Matthew 24:14 is the ONLY true sign that Jesus Himself gave. "When this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world unto all nations (Ethnos - dialects), then shall the end come." All the other spectacular so called signs like earthquakes, pestilence, etc. are just the "beginning of sorrows". I personally believe that a world-wide intercessor movement will accompany the end time purpose of God in fulfilling all prophecy. Only you can determine your part in that great end-time movement. Are you praying? Is God showing you how to pray in these days? Perhaps this is the season to do the real important work of God... Pray! Daniel was told to seal up the book of prophecy until the times of the end. We are now in that day of the Lord. God is NOW breaking open the seals of revelation to understand how all this unfolds and how we should PRAY!
Usually the last words of someone are most significant. Jesus was no exception. His last were in Matthew 28:18-19 "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth. God therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.'" The church today has largely gone after converts, even by large numbers. But Jesus said not converts but disciples. That is why Kingdom Life University was born... making disciples. When believers from every nation become masters at understanding the bible and sharing that revelation with others, we disciple nations. Some larger villages will have several, if not many smart phones provided to do ongoing evangelism. Technology has made it possible for us to change evangelism strategies with little effort. Please commit to join with us in gathering tens of thousands of used smart phones. Let's turn each phone into a verbal missionary! Action Evangelism is a growing member of the Call to All world harvest movement. The upcoming world congress for finishing the harvest in Korea is exciting and will be a strategic congress setting the pace for the emerging younger generation. They are expecting almost 1/2 of the 10,000 attendees will be youth. Please pray for this gathering. It is a movement of trying to finish the harvest by 2020. As you know, Action Evangelism has had a heart in launching MAT Ministry Action Teams to remote villages and planting churches. We too believe the harvest can be complete by 2020 paving the way for the return of Christ according to Matthew 24:14. We have naturally joined hands with large ministries like YWAM and Campus Crusade, etc. to be a help in finishing this massive task. The church has tried for over 2000 years to do this. We are living the time of the completion and end of this effort. Of the 15,300 dialects around the world, almost 3/4 have been done, translating the bible into their dialect. With new technology, we are seeing a rapid increase of this task. Many of us now believe it will be completed by 2020. To me this is the greatest sign of the soon coming of Christ and was according the Christ's own declaration the ONLY real sign. We will not drop the ball nor stop the forward movement of doing what God has called us to do since 2005 and the prophetic word I received from Dr. Frank Brocado and intercessor Joe Brown. Persistence will win the day.
