Prayer is the power that releases heaven on earth. Paul finishes the spiritual warfare armor in Ephesians 6 with "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints" Having been clothed with our spiritual warfare armor, Paul now says its all tied together with prayer. As believers we often don't realize the power we have in prayer. Prayer moves mountains, shifts kingdoms, and calls down the presence of God. Reese Howell's little school of prayer in England during WWII is now recognized as the power that won the war. They would literally pray and 3 days later read the many answers to pray on the battlefield. Prayer for those in authority releases peace in nations that allows the gospel to go forth. Daniel prayed and God sent an angel with the interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream. Pray can also release the secrets of the kingdom to those who are tuned in to the voice of God. Listening is definitely a part of prayer. Prayer could well be the most powerful part of our spiritual warfare.
Jesus said to the 70 who had just returned from their first missionary journey in Luke 10. Jesus gave authority to them to cast out demons, heal the sick and proclaim the "Kingdom of God" is at hand. These 70 returned amazed that even the demons were subject to them in Jesus name. Jesus answered with some very outstanding comments. "Have I not given you authority on earth to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. And who is he that will harm you if you be a doer of that which is good." Luke 10:19 And then one of the most amazing statements in the bible. "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning." Luke 10:18 As the 70 were going to every city and place where Jesus was going to come in His earthly ministry, He was watching Satan's power being broken over cities and places. They were literally preparing the "way of the Lord". These disciples were operating off of transmitted authority that Jesus had given them. Today we operate with the completed blood of Christ on the cross that totally disarmed Satan and demons. But we have to execute the judgment on demons by our commands and commitment to walk under Jesus authority. Do you understand at all the enormous power and authority Jesus Christ has given you and me in His name? Paul reminds us that Jesus has already placed all principalities, powers and rulers of darkness under Jesus feet. And He gave this authority to us.. His body, His bride, His called ones. Paul said in Galatians 1:6"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you to the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some of who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ." The purity of the gospel message is the death, burial and resurrection of Christ alone. It is the finished work of Christ that established His righeousness as God's standard of salvation....NONE OTHER! Paul calls it a seducing spirit that enters into churches and draws them away from the true gospel. The church today largely preaches another gospel. The gospel of self-improvement, the gospel of social change by human effort, the gospel of emotional experience and fleshly demonstrations, the gospel of prosperity without the righteousness of Christ. I am going to make a statement here that may shake some of you. Everything outside the righteousness of Christ is of Satan and is included in the seducing spirit of Satan to draw the church away from the true gospel. What are true biblical apostles? Men who sound the alarm and shout to the church to bring the message back to the righteousness of Christ and the cross. Paul said, I know nothing among you but Christ and Christ crucified. Many of Paul's writing were to bring this correction to the early church. The gospel of human effort and mind philosophies has infiltrated the church today in amazing ways. This video will help you understand the end-time timeline Jesus gave us in Matthew 24. Jesus referred to the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation. He shows us the high points of the Father's prophetic plan and His own "Action Plan" for the end of this age. Jesus straightens out much of the false prophecy we see today on Youtube. People are giving all these so called "signs" of the times when Jesus clearly said they are not. He said the wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilence, and all these things are not signs of the end. We have had them for thousands of years. Yet many modern day so called prophets use them to tell us that they show how close the coming of the Lord is. NOT! Jesus even called them the "beginning of sorrows, but the end is not yet". There are only a couple of markers that Jesus, Himself, gave us. First is the "Abomination of Desolation". This happens in the middle of the tribulation period after the antichrist has already established a peace agreement or covenant with Israel and her surrounding nations. The 3rd temple will already have been built because the "abomination of desolation" cannot happen without it. The seals of Revelation 6 will already have been fulfilled. See my video on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Then in the middle of the tribulation this great event happens. Revelation 12 shows that Satan has now been cast out of heaven by Michael and God's mighty host of angels. Satan comes to earth in great anger and personally indwells the antichrist. This period fulfills the trumpets and finally the devastating 7 bowls at the very end of the tribulation. The greatest time of destruction outside of the flood, in world history. I will show you in this video how all these things fall out. How the timeline is clearly drawn by Jesus in Matthew 24. The final and only true sign of Jesus coming is"When this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world, unto all nations (dialects), then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14. Jesus said regarding it, "then the end will come". Jesus said it, I believe it, and Action Evangelism andKingdom Life Universityis preparing for it!
