Why KLU Believes in the five-fold ministries

The truth of the five-fold ministries is rooted in the New Testament., specifically in the writings of the apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:11-13. The five-fold ministries are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Each ministry serves a specific function within the body of believers (the Church) to promote growth, maturity, and unity among its members. Here are some reasons why the truth of the five-fold ministries is considered necessary today: 1. Spiritual Equipping and Edification: The five-fold ministries are meant to equip and edify the members of the Church, helping them grow in their faith, understanding of Scripture, and spiritual maturity. The goal of the five-fold ministry is to bring all believer’s into the mature image of Christ. “Till we all come into the unity of THE FAITH. i.e. a mature image of Jesus. 2. Church Unity: The five-fold ministries work together as a team, each contributing its unique strengths to promote unity within the Church. When these ministries function harmoniously, they can help prevent divisions and promote cooperation among believers with different spiritual giftings. 3. Balanced Spiritual Nourishment: Each ministry addresses specific needs of the Church. Apostles may provide overall vision and direction, prophets bring spiritual insight and guidance, evangelists focus on outreach and sharing the Gospel, pastors offer pastoral care and support, and teachers provide biblical understanding and instruction. This balance ensures that the Church receives comprehensive spiritual nourishment. 4. Strengthening and Building the Church: The purpose of these ministries, as mentioned in Ephesians 4:12, is to equip the saints for the work of ministry and the building up of the body of Christ. This means empowering and mobilizing all believers for active service and growth, resulting in a strong and thriving Church community. 5. Addressing Contemporary Challenges: The five-fold ministries can be relevant in addressing contemporary challenges faced by the Church and society. They provide spiritual discernment, guidance, and insight to navigate complex issues and promote biblical values in a changing world. 6. Continuation of Christ's Work: The five-fold ministries are believed by some Christian traditions to be a continuation of the ministry of Jesus Christ himself. As Christ's ambassadors, these ministries seek to carry on his mission of redemption, reconciliation, and transformation in the world. Jesus said, “The works that I do, you shall do also, and greater works shall you do”. John 14:12 7. Empowering God's People: The ministries are not intended to centralize power in a select few, but rather to empower all believers to live out their calling and purpose in the Kingdom of God. By recognizing and utilizing the diverse gifts and callings within the Church, the five-fold ministries encourage active participation and engagement of all members

Kingdom Life University - Provides Inspiration, Information & Revelation

Inspiration, information, and revelation are related concepts, but they have distinct meanings and implications. Let's explore the differences between them: 1. Inspiration: Inspiration refers to the process of being mentally stimulated to do or create something, especially when it involves a burst of creativity or a profound idea. It often comes from a source of influence, such as a person, a work of art, nature, or a personal experience. Inspiration can lead to new insights, innovative thoughts, and the motivation to pursue a particular course of action. It is often associated with the spontaneous emergence of ideas and a sense of heightened enthusiasm or passion. Example: A painter may be inspired by a breathtaking sunset, which triggers a surge of creativity, leading them to produce a beautiful artwork. 2. Information: Information refers to data or knowledge that is communicated or received. It is the raw material of understanding and can be acquired through various means, such as reading, listening, observation, or research. Information can be factual, objective, and verifiable, or it can be subjective and based on personal experiences. It is essential for expanding knowledge, making informed decisions, and gaining insights into various topics. Example: Reading a book on a historical event provides information about the people, places, and occurrences during that period. 3. Revelation: Revelation is a disclosure or uncovering of something that was previously hidden or unknown. It often implies the communication of knowledge or truth from a higher or divine source to a human being. In religious or spiritual contexts, revelations are often considered to be messages from a deity or a transcendent entity, providing insight into the nature of reality, morality, or the purpose of life. In a general sense, revelation can also refer to any unexpected or profound understanding or insight into a situation or concept. Example: A person may experience a sudden revelation about a personal problem, leading to a deeper understanding of their emotions and possible solutions. In summary, inspiration is a spark of creativity or motivation, information is knowledge that is acquired or communicated, and revelation is the unveiling of hidden truths or insights, often associated with higher or divine sources. These concepts can intersect and complement each other, contributing to personal growth, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world

Healing Power of Christ "IN YOU"

Certain Truths transform you. John G Lake was recognized as the formost Healing Evangelist in history. With over 100,000 doctor confirmed healings in his lifetime he affected nations like South Africa with over 1 million followers. He trained 16 "Healing Technicians" to carry on the principles Christ taught Him out of the word of God. He walked in them, practed them and they worked. He leaves a legacy with us of powerful principles that I too have learned over the years while ministering on San Francisco streets weekly. What are these principles? I share them briefly with you: 1. Christ has downloaded in your "Spirit Man" everything you need for life and godliness through a knowledge of Jesus Christ. II Peter 1:1-4 2. Therefore Christ "in you" brings His healing power "in you". Your conscious awareness of the indwelling Christ makes you a "Divine Partaker" of His nature. Therefore, healing is in your command. 3. Jesus never once asked the Father to come and heal anyone. He simply commanded it. Therefore it is not biblical for you to ask Jesus to come and heal anyone. (this sacred cow has caused many believer's to not move in the power of Christ "in them their hope of glory". So people they pray over are not healed) 4. Peter and John on the way to the temple met the man with infirmity. They said, "Such as WE HAVE we give you, rise and be healed in the name of Jesus". 5. Since we are joint "Heirs" with Christ, all that He is He has given us. I John 4:17 "as He is in heaven so are we in this present world". 6. Therefore all the power of Christ's healing is inside of you, because Christ "IN YOU" is working through you. So simply speak healing by commanding the spirit of infirmity to leave in Jesus name. It works!
