The Beatitudes are the characters traits found in God's kingdom children. These are not moral rules to try and obtain, but descriptions of what true believer's already look like. When the truth of "Christ in me" is taught clearly, then His followers will see these come out from the righteousness and nature of Christ already "in us". That's why Kingdom Life University teaches idenfication theology. Knowing that the Father has "already given us everything we need for life and godliness through a knowledge of Jesus Christ" (Eph. 1:3 & I Peter 2:1-3), we can now live out the presence of Christ in us. Remember, we are partakers of His nature, joint heirs with Christ. "As He is in heaven, so are we in this present world."His nature and life is in us and now through us. I call the beatitudes and MANIFESTO of the kingdom of God. Because it is what Jesus looks like, it is also what we look like. How do you measure up to the image of Jesus. Remember also that we were predestined to be conformed to "His Image". (Romans 8) If you behold as in a glass the glory of the Lord, you will be changed into His image from one step of glory to the next step of glory, even as by the Holy Spirit. (II Cor. 3:18)
